DrawerSnap is a receipt-capture app. This page describes the current Android app (package com.uiss.drawersnap), not a future store listing.
What the app uses
- Camera, if you allow it, to photograph paper receipts.
- Photos and files you pick from the device (for example a screenshot of an Amazon order).
- Storage on the phone for those images and the personal vs business folder you choose.
Google Drive
The app can connect to Google Drive so receipts land in your Drive under receipts/personal and receipts/<business name>, or a folder you choose for a business.
That connection is not turned on in the current build. We will not claim Drive is connected until it actually is. When it is on, receipts you save can be uploaded to the Google account you sign in with. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that account.
What we do not do in this version
- No ads.
- No sale of receipt photos.
- No account of our own. There is no DrawerSnap cloud of your pictures unless you connect Drive, and that is not on yet.
You can delete receipts in the app. Uninstalling removes the on-phone copy. Files already in your Google Drive stay there until you delete them in Drive.
